How to get started

When should I seek help?

The time to seek professional help is when you are ready to address your particular issues. For those new to the idea of psychotherapy it is a big step, but in reality it is just a case of making your mind up that the time is right, picking up the phone or writing the email. Putting it off solves nothing.

Do it now

Your unconscious is working against your conscious, it is uncomfortable with having its secrets exposed, so the time to act is the moment you realise you need help. Putting it off is your unconscious controlling events. I will usually try and see you within a week.

What does it cost?

The initial consultation costs £70. After that I work on a sliding scale and charge between £65 and £90 depending on your annual income. Session fees are set in your initial consultation. Fees are payable by online transfer or cash.

A session usually lasts up to 45 minutes.

Counselling Psychotherapy Psychoanalysis

What makes us tick, what makes us love or hate, and what drives us to live our lives in the way we do, but not always want to?

When it feels like something went wrong, it is important to find out, when, or why, or with whom it did.

Counselling, psychotherapy, and psychoanalysis – they all create in their different ways a confidential and safe space to address questions about your passions and desires, and about your dreams and nightmares, in order to explore how you got where you are now.

And if you suspect that being unhappy has deep down something to do with you and who you are or who you want to be, or whom you want to be with, or with what you don’t know about yourself when you have come to a crossroad in your life, then this is a crucial first step into the right direction. From there we can embark.

About

Hello,

I am a chartered counselling psychologist and offer counselling and psychotherapy for individuals. I have over 20 years of clinical experience with individuals in one-to-one settings, as well as with groups, and have come across a wide range of people and ways of suffering in both short-term and long-term counselling, psychotherapy, and psychoanalysis. I have worked as a Therapist, later Senior Associate Therapist at the London Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (LACAP) in East London for almost a decade. In 2011, I joined the Centre for Freudian Analysis and Research (CFAR) and underwent the clinical training course in Lacanian Psychoanalysis from 2011 to 2015. I have been working in private practice with individuals for one-to-one counselling, existential and psychoanalytically oriented psychotherapy since 2010.
